According to a project done by designers Timothy Goodman and Jessica Walsh, it takes 40 days to break a bad habit. This book was an attempt to enhance my remaining time at RISD by altering the way I handled it.
Instead of inefficiency and procrastination, each page represented a choice made in the moment.

'Types of Shoes' is a book about typographical personalities, illustrated in the form of shoes (and eventually, the wearers of the shoes).
It resulted from an attempt to apply typography in a world where it usually doesn't belong.
The 'Storytelling Shoe' chronicles the whimsy and nostalgia connected to my travels around Italy. But, like a loose page from a book, the shoe tells only a snippet of the story.
Everywhere I looked, there was a story waiting to be uncovered. Or a memory waiting to be made, that would one day turn into a story too.
From the engravings on the walls of the Ponte Vecchio to the thousands of heartfelt letters to Juliet in Verona, or the wishing fountains scattered around cities to the love locks on every bridge— the place overflowed with tales of its people and its past.
